Press and Commentary

Jim Burgess (Portugal):
Doesn't Portugal get killed in this game?
Prince Jim-Bob

Dave Partridge (England):
Jim,
I'm shocked and horrified by the regional prejudice shown by your implication that where on the board you are has any effect on your getting killed. The destruction of the Forces of the Boob is a sacred duty held by all true Diplomacy players and the mere color of your pieces or location of your centers would never be allowed to interfere with that trust.
King Dave

Rick Desper (Russia):
Translation: yes.
A couple of questions:
1) when is the first deadline?
2) didn't the GM get the joke? When I said I wanted to be "as far away from Jim-Bob as possible" I meant "I want to be as close to Jim-Bob as possible". What I really meant was "I want to be as far away from Hood as possible".
Perhaps my humor should be less subtle. ;)

Dave Partridge (England):
Perhaps it needs subtitles?

Rick Desper (Russia):
nyuk, nyuk, nyuk
Oh, wise guy, eh?
*poke*
