This game of the Colonia VII-B
Diplomacy variant is a demonstration version, Gunboat with white broadcast press,
for three players. After some debate about the alliances, it was decided that
the most playable would be the ones listed below. Ottoman/China/Russia would
have a stranglehold on Asia, and Ottoman/Russia/Austria would have a common
central point from which to expand.
Given that there are only three players, it seemed appropriate that the game be named after a Three Stooges short feature. 8-)
These brave gentlemen volunteered to help me debug my move and mapping software (done in MapInfo) and get ready for the Colonia-VIIB game that I will be GM-ing in The Abyssinian Prince some time in the future.
